Merry Christmas and an exciting New Year to you all!
To all of my patient subscribers, I must apologise for my absence. So much has been happening that I haven’t had time to sit down and think about writing a newsletter! But, here we are again with a New Year approaching and I for one am looking forward to a year of new adventures and expanded horizons.
As I finally unpack our many boxes in our long awaited new home, I find myself feeling detached from many of the material possessions I once held so dear. It’s amazing how we feel so attached to things we see everyday, so much so that we can’t imagine ever parting with them. Yet after being without them for 3 months, you realise that all of this ‘stuff’ is so unnecessary and in fact really holds you back.
It’s like losing 5 kilos you’ve been dragging around for years or like finally putting down those heavy bags you’ve just lugged home from the supermarket; de-cluttering and offloading unnecessary possessions gives you a sense of lightness and freedom that you probably haven’t experienced in years. AND when you do make room in your life, new things can enter eg. Relationships, opportunities, gifts etc.
As I always say, the universe hates a vacuum!
So this is my Christmas and New Years wish for you:
May you rid yourself of what’s holding you back and open yourself up to the wonderful life you deserve.

Feng Shui Tips for Christmas and the New Year
- If you’re not sure how to start de-cluttering, tell Santa you’d like a copy of ‘Clear your Clutter with Feng Shui’ by Karen Kingston. This is the book that started me on my Feng Shui journey many years ago. It’s an easy read and will give you the tips you need to get the job done.
- Sit down and think about what you would like to achieve in 2008. Write down no more than 3 specific goals on a red piece of paper, and then stick it to the wall next to your front door. Every time you leave the house you will be reminded of your goals and you’ll find yourself on the path to achieving them.
