About Us
Hello. I’m Pauline Elphinstone, the founder and principal Feng Shui practitioner of Contemporary Feng Shui. Since 2004, I’ve divided my time between Brisbane and Cairns, assisting clients to tap into their full potential both in business and personally through the use of a positive energy environment. I also hold regular Feng Shui workshops in both cities and I am the resident Feng Shui columnist for the Cairns Post Newspaper.
With a background in travel and teaching, I studied German, Indonesian as well as Chinese language, literature and linguistics at UNE as part of my Bachelors degree. I then embarked on a regime of self-study, going on to seek out a teacher of Feng Shui, to study this enigmatic science. I decided to study with Master Yu Gui Feng of the Master Feng Institute, a pioneer in the field of Southern Hemisphere principles of Feng Shui, who trained me as a Feng Shui practitioner. I’ve since studied how to Clear Clutter with Feng Shui and space clearing with renowned author, Space Clearer and energy worker Karen Kingston in Bali.
In 2005, I was lucky enough to be able to attend the International Feng Shui Convention in Singapore to listen to the teachings of some of the world’s most respected Feng Shui masters.
Currently I’m expanding into teaching and conducting regular Feng Shui workshops as well as embarking on further studies in Building Biology at the Australian College of Environmental Studies where I completed my geomancy studies.
